Donate Your Old Sneakers. Get Rewarded.

At Valley Trail Bike & Run, we believe good gear shouldn’t end its life in a landfill. That’s why we’ve partnered with Sneakers4Good to give old sneakers a second life through reuse and responsible recycling.

When you donate your old sneakers and purchase a new pair of shoes, we’ll say thank you with free premium socks.

How It Works

  1. Donate one pair of sneakers
    Bring in a matched pair of clean, dry sneakers.

  2. Purchase a new pair of full-price shoes
    Our team will help you find the right fit for how you move.

  3. Receive free premium socks
    Get a free pair of premium socks (up to a $16 value).
    Want a different style or upgrade? You can pay the difference.

What Happens to Your Donated Sneakers?

All donated sneakers are sent to Sneakers4Good:

  • Sneakers in good condition are reused and redistributed.

  • Sneakers that are too worn are recycled and turned into materials used for things like playground surfacing, padding, and other repurposed products.

Either way, your sneakers stay out of the landfill and keep doing good.

Donation Requirements

To ensure donations can be accepted and shipped:

  • ✅ Sneakers only

  • ✅ Matched pair

  • ✅ Clean & dry

  • ❌ Not wet or moldy

  • ❌ Not falling apart

Sneakers that do not meet these requirements cannot be accepted.

Program Details

  • Valid with the purchase of a new pair of full-price shoes

  • One sock reward per shoe purchase

  • Sock reward includes up to a $16 value

  • Upgrades available by paying the difference

  • Not valid on clearance shoes

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I donate sneakers without buying new shoes?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to donate sneakers anytime during store hours. The free sock reward is only available with the purchase of a new pair of full-price shoes, but donations are always appreciated and still help keep sneakers out of landfills.

Do all donated sneakers get reused?
No. Only sneakers in good condition can be reused. Worn sneakers are responsibly recycled.

Why is the sock value $16?
The program includes a $16 sock value, which covers a premium performance sock. Customers may upgrade by paying the difference.

Can I donate more than one pair?
Yes, but the sock reward is limited to one per qualifying shoe purchase.
